Flora & Faun creates laser cut leather jewelry and whimsical accessories inspired by natural forms. Leather is a perfect material for jewelry because it is lightweight, flexible, and durable. Combining this beautiful material with the precision of laser cutting technology allows us to turn intricate natural structures into beautiful wearable pieces.
Some of our designs incorporate wearable illumination for those extraordinary occasions that call for an extra dose of magic. We also run workshops on crafting illuminated headpieces, where participants create their own fantastical personas through craft. All of our pieces are designed, laser cut, and assembled by the artist in the wonderful city of
Las Vegas, NV.
All of our jewelry is made from leather intricately cut on CNC laser cutters. We carefully select leather that can be safely cut and will hold up to regular wear. Our standard earring findings are sterling silver, and necklace hardware is stainless steel or solid brass.

Mikaela Holmes is a designer, maker and educator in Las Vegas, Nevada whose work combines traditional techniques and materials with digital fabrication technology. Mikaela also designs costumes and wearables that incorporate light, and writes extensive tutorials about her craft.
